The robber fell off his motorcycle and was captured by the police. The incident occurred on a busy street in the city of Mar del Plata.
The criminals approached two women who were getting out of a car. The person in the back approached the victims with a gun. The women responded and tried to retrieve their belongings until the partner on the motorcycle lost his balance and fell. The impact caused his prosthesis to detach from his leg.
The second perpetrator ran towards his colleague and gave him the equipment back so they could escape. When they tried to leave the place, the motorcycle had problems. They tried to push the vehicle when another prosthetic limb fell off of one of them. When he tried to put it back, the other criminal abandoned his colleague and ran away, pushing the motorcycle.
The denture thief was eventually knocked down by two men who were nearby. The criminal was caught by the Argentine police. According to information from the newspaper La Nacion, the women did not report the matter to the police.
