Are you inspired by the news for episode cases?
Some are fictional, for others we were inspired by real events. For the story of Angioletta, for example, we started from a news case from a few years ago, that of Maria Paola Gaglione (the 21-year-old who died in an accident caused by her brother who was chasing her and crashing her scooter , because she didn’t accept the woman’s relationship with Ciro Migliore, the transgender partner, NB We started from there by telling about a social degradation, then we worked on it, the story completely changed us have reworked it and made it functional for the character of Mina. We’ve thought a lot about it. Marital relationships, separations, were often described as something stormy. It is not said that all breakups have to be characterized by severe pain, there can also be an affliction that people can metabolize. Mina and Claudio’s was a love marriage, it had to be told as a farewell between two adults who love each other, between whom there is no longer love but respect, affection, many shared memories.
