In addition to revealing that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will have 240 characters, six universes and the largest crew for an animated film, Sony has revealed that the third Spider-Verse film will be Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse .
The news was shared at CinemaCon, where the first 15 minutes of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse were shown.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released in theaters on June 2, 2023 and Beyond the Spider-Verse will be released on March 29, 2024.
The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel was originally scheduled to hit theaters on October 7, 2022, but was only pushed back a few days ago.
Now Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released just a month ahead of Madame Web’s theatrical release date of July 7th, 2023. Starring Dakota Johnson, this film is another Spider-Man spin-off that will tell the origin story of a psychic with psychic abilities that allow her to see into the spider world itself.

Sony also announced the sequels to Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and another expansion of its Spider-Man universe in El Muerto, which will star Bad Bunny as Marvel’s first live-action Latino lead.
