But when Harry tries to pull off an elaborate trick to win the game, Ross reveals a plan of his own – revenge.
Ross was left devastated after Diane was eliminated from the competition after they revealed to viewers that they are mother and son but are keeping their relationship a secret.
Even after Diane's “murder,” Ross vowed not to tell his fellow believers the truth about their relationship, and a shocking twist could now see him become a new traitor.

Andrew and Harry decided to recruit another traitor to their team at the end of the episode as they were tactically focused on the finale.
But Ross had other plans in mind – revenge – as he immediately questions his fellow traitors about why he murdered Diane and who made the decision.
The decision to join the traitors was not an easy one for the player, as he debated whether to reject their offer.
After receiving the letter, Ross said, “I don't want this, I don't want any of it.” I just want to have a nice, happy game, stay true to the end and win the money.
“Maybe I should just say no to something as small as murdering my mother.”
“But I think mom would look down on me now, as horrible as that sounds, and I think she would say, 'Do it,'” he added.
“I don’t want to be murdered. Go ahead and I’ll join them, why not.”
After realizing his fate, Ross looked on the bright side and said he was curious about who killed his mother, adding, “If he can't defeat them, join them.”

Without hesitation, Ross asked what the reason for his mother's murder was because he “wanted an answer.”
Harry bravely told Ross that his mother had become “too brave” so he “put her in her place.”
After hearing him badmouth his parents, Ross secretly revealed that he felt he had reached “boiling point.”
“My mother was murdered. So I will take revenge. “If I have a chance, they’ll get it,” he said, grinning.
