This Tuesday, DMAX is launching El Pioneer, a series filming a portrait of the controversial former mayor of Marbella, Jesús Gil, and this week’s show Blood Ties focuses on the amazing Marisol. The latest episode of Blood Ties tells the story of how Marisol became Pepa Flores and disappeared from the media spotlight for 40 years. Through her daughter Celia and sister Vicky, the show reflects what those hellish years were like for a girl who was only 12 when she found fame.

The series that parodies true crime and podcasts is back for its third season. Joining the usual star cast of Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez are Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd. Charles, Oliver and Mabel investigate the backstage murder on a Broadway show of Ben Glenroy, a Hollywood action star whose Broadway debut is cut short by his untimely death. Assisted by his co-star Loretta Durkin, the main trio begin their toughest case yet while Oliver desperately tries to get his show back on track.
