The United States continues its piracy and plunder of Syrian oil

Sources in the city of Yarubieh in northeastern Hasakeh province told national agency SANA that the Pentagon military transported 35 tankers full of crude oil to their bases in northern Iraq.

They clarified that the caravan entered neighboring territory through the Al-Walid border crossing and was guarded by armed members of the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), a puppet militia operating in the service of the United States.

A second convoy of 20 tankers and dozens of vehicles set off through the illegal Al-Mahmoudiah border crossing.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry recently condemned the intensification of the plunder and smuggling of the country’s natural resources, especially oil, by the American occupiers, viewing these actions as banditry that violates international law, impoverishes the Syrian people and prolongs their suffering.

He revealed that the damage caused by these acts in the oil sector amounts to $115.2 billion and demanded that the US government stop playing the role of pirates and bandits, stop these lootings and provide compensation to the Syrian people to pay.

Before the war, in 2011, Syria produced more than 380,000 barrels of crude oil per day, but this figure was reduced to just 80,000, of which 66,000 were plundered by North American troops and the SDF.
