Several areas of the United States are experiencing severe winter storms this weekend.
Adverse weather conditions such as snowfall and strong winds prompted the National Weather Service (NWS) to issue warnings for the states of Nebraska, Michigan, Indiana and Minnesota.
The intense weather also brought snow, ice and strong winds to northwestern states, causing power outages in hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses this Saturday (13).
And the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the storms continue to cause flight cancellations and delays. Since Friday (12), more than 7,600 flights there were delays.
Additionally, political events were canceled in the state of Iowa due to adverse weather conditions that impacted the state's party primary schedule.
