Washington is ready to do anything to retain power over the world, including sacrificing the European economy, said State Duma (lower house of the Russian parliament) Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.
“Washington is ready to do whatever it takes to maintain its power over the world, sacrificing the wealth of citizens and the economies of European countries,” he said on his Telegram channel.
He pointed out that Washington was leading Europe “in hunger, cold and isolation” and specified that inflation in the euro zone had already reached its historic maximum of 8.9 percent.
He also pointed out that the unusual heat that hit Europe severely affected agriculture, reducing harvests by 20 percent compared to last year.
It was also noted that European countries are facing an electricity shortage that has increased the price six times in one year.
In this regard, he stressed that all decisions to reject Russian energy products and economic cooperation with Russia were also made under pressure from the United States.
