Two couples who accidentally met while on vacation get back together for another wild adventure in the new Vacation Friends 2 trailer.
John Cena – who made headlines for speaking out on the issue of homelessness after moving to Los Angeles in the 1990s – returns as Ron, alongside Meredith Hagner as his on-screen wife Kyle, alongside Lil Rel Howrey and Yvonne Orji as Marcus and Emily.
The comedy is a sequel to 2021’s “Vacation Friends,” in which wild Ron and Kyla extend their hospitality (and luxury suite) to straight-laced Marcus and Emily after Marcus popped the question to Emily.
The sequel is set just months after the original – both couples are newlyweds – and Marcus and Emily return the favor to Ron and Kyla when he invites them on an all-expenses-paid trip to a Caribbean resort.
While Marcus is there on business, the trip spirals into chaos when Kyla’s ex-con father Reese (Steve Buscemi) arrives.

The trailer begins with an aerial shot of the resort while Marcus tells Emily, “I told you I’m on vacation.” “When I’m on vacation, I’m just a floater.”
Emily hugs her husband as the moment is marred by Kyla announcing over the speaker, “Marcus and Emily Parker: You have not told your airline that you are registered sex offenders,” as Marcus and Emily finally see Ron and Kyla.
“What the hell is wrong with you all?” Marcus says while walking towards them, while Ron later says, “Look at us together again!”
Marcus explains, “We just wanted to give you guys a real honeymoon,” as a woman approaches Ron and Kyla with her baby.
“I just found this crawling under our table,” while Ron and Kyla both exclaim, “He’s crawling?!”
‘It’s your first time!’ says Kyla, taking her baby from the stranger while Ron marvels, ‘He’s a prodigy!’ It’s wonderful!’

While hanging out by the pool, a Japanese businessman approaches Marcus and informs him that the schedule has changed and invites both couples over for drinks.
‘Guys, I need you guys to be really cool.’ Can you do that?’ Marcus asks as they show a quick montage of several drinks being drunk… and even a bizarre straw scene.
Kyla replies, ‘Look who you’re talking to.’ When have we ever not been cool?’ While another surprise arrives: Kyla’s father Reese arrives.
“Just released from San Quentin, literally,” Kyla says, as Marcus and Emily aren’t sure how to respond.
Later, Reese says to Kyla, “I literally gave you the best wedding present,” while dropping a large bag of powder…which Kyla immediately mistakes for cocaine.
“Why doesn’t that coke taste like cocaine?” Kyla asks, as Reese replies, “Because it’s your mom,” while Ron says, “You just snorted your mom?”
“It’s really nice when you think about it,” Kyla says, while we hear Ron say, “I didn’t picture things like that at all.”

The trailer ends with a series of other shots, including a rolling truck as Ron and Marcus attempt to surf a giant wave…which doesn’t go well for Marcus.
Marcus lands on the beach as the surf instructor says, “I’ve never seen so much water come out of a human.”
Marcus asks if he’s “thrown up a lot,” to which Ron tactfully tells him, “Your asshole threw up, mate,” as the trailer wraps up.
