The Vietnamese Parliament begins its sixth session

Eight other draft laws are also being considered by parliamentarians: those on social security, archives, the defense and security industry, order and safety of road traffic, the capital, the organization of people’s courts and amending articles of the property auction law.

The sixth session, the second phase of which will take place from November 20 to 28, will also evaluate a draft resolution on the pilot implementation of mechanisms and policies to remove obstacles prescribed in laws related to investments in the construction of road transport facilities.

The work agenda of Vietnamese MPs also includes the assessment of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget for 2023 and the related forecasts for 2024, as well as the mid-term review of the five-year plans for the period 2021-2025.

The lawmakers will also hear the reports on the judicial work and the readjustment of the decision on the viability of the relocation, compensation, assistance and resettlement project of residents affected by the construction of Long Thanh International Airport.

As usual, there will be consultation sessions with government officials on compliance with legislative decisions and national target programs, such as the construction of new rural areas, sustainable poverty alleviation and the development of mountainous areas and areas inhabited by ethnic minorities (2021-2030). .
