The View’s Sunny Hostin was busy promoting her latest novel this week, but her co-hosts were noticeably absent at a recent book signing.
The mother of two was in Bridgehampton this week to meet with fans and sign copies of “Summer on Sag Harbor: A Novel,” but the only colleague who showed up to support her was Joy Behar.
In a montage video shared by Stella Flame Gallery, Sunny and Joy were seen chatting with each other at the event.
Joy, 80, looked as glamorous as ever in black skinny trousers, a matching top and a camel blazer.

She accessorized with oversized sunglasses and a Gucci shoulder bag and completed her look with a pair of black strappy sandals.
Sunny, 54, looked stunning in a printed maxi dress with short sleeves and a tied waist.
The author appeared to be in high spirits as she mingled with guests, posed for photos and signed copies of her novel, published in May.
Sunny shared the video on her Instagram Stories with the caption: “It was a sunny night in Bridgehampton!” “Recommendations to co-sponsors #danspapers #bookhampton Sunny Hostin, Summer on Sag Harbor, book sales and book signings.”
Her co-hosts’ absence from the event comes after a heated season of “The View” that saw panelists compete against each other multiple times, with viewers at one point threatening to boycott the show unless Sunny was banned from the broadcast into a furious clash with Alyssa.
The incident was just one in a long series of clashes between the panelists – who appeared to be enjoying the break they had from their on-air battles.
Sunny and her co-hosts are currently enjoying a four-week break from The View as the ABC show is on summer break and will return to television screens on Tuesday, September 5.
Ana Navarro and her husband Al Cárdenas enjoyed almost three weeks in Europe, exploring Turkey and Greece
Alyssa Farah Griffin shared some vacation photos of her and her husband Justin by the sea
Sunny and her husband Emmanuel enjoyed a lavish trip to Ibiza where they celebrated their son Gabriel’s 21st birthday.
The lawyer shared a few snaps from their vacation, which showed them relaxing on a boat in Spain with family and friends.
Meanwhile, Sunny co-host Ana Navarro flew to Turkey and Greece and enjoyed a luxury cruise with her husband Al Cárdenas.
Ana, 51, was much more active on social media, sharing numerous snaps and videos as she and Al swam in the sea and enjoyed the sights.
However, she experienced her fair share of drama during the trip – at one point she was criticized by her Instagram followers for “disrespecting” Muslim culture.
The backlash came after Ana shared a picture of herself during a visit to a mosque in Istanbul, complaining about having to walk barefoot on the “disgusting” floor and complaining about being forced to do so had to cover her head with a “musty and dreary scarf”.
“I wish I had worn socks,” she wrote in the caption, while also offering “tips” for her followers who might be visiting the same place. “Walking barefoot on a carpet that millions of people walk on is a bit disgusting to me.”
“You should wear clothing that meets the requirements because the alternative is to wear a poncho that you buy there or a musty, drab, olive-colored scarf that they lend you to cover your hair.”
Still, the host didn’t let any criticism stop her from enjoying her long trip, which she concluded by returning to the United States earlier this week.

No doubt The View will be full of heated debates when it returns next week, and Sunny and Alyssa in particular are no strangers to clashing in the open panel.
Things got pretty heated between the two ladies in July when Sunny accused 34-year-old Alyssa of “wasting” her vote when she admitted she wouldn’t vote for either Donald Trump or President Joe Biden.
In a trailer for The View’s upcoming 27th season, Alyssa promised viewers that it would be “dramatic, eventful and entertaining,” while Sunny teased that the program would be “electrifying, fearless and entertaining” before adding : “This season will be ‘so good!’
