Huntley was named the winner of Season 24 of The Voice on Tuesday during a star-studded, two-hour live finale on NBC.

The 33-year-old singer from Fredericksburg, Virginia, took the title representing 30-year-old trainer Niall Horan.

Ruby Leigh, 16, of Foley, Missouri, took second place, representing new coach Reba McEntire, 68.

It was the second win in a row for Niall, who won season 23 of The Voice with 20-year-old Gina Miles in May in his first season as coach.

Mara Justine, 21, of Galloway, New Jersey, took third place while also representing Niall.

Reba's singer Jacquie Roar, 38, of North Plains, Oregon, took fourth place.

Lila Forde, 24, from Seattle, took fifth place representing her coach John Legend, 44.

Huntley was shocked when his name was announced as the winner. His hand went up to his head and he started to cry. The crowd cheered as confetti rained down around him and he couldn't believe he had won.

All the coaches came on stage to congratulate him and Niall held up his trophy.

Just before the winners were announced, Niall told him it had been a pleasure coaching him this season.

“Huntley, my husband, it’s been an absolute pleasure from day one,” Niall said. “Huntley win or lose, we’re going for a beer.”

Huntley also thanked Niall.

“He showed me that I could be myself in this industry,” Huntley said. “I can be my goofy Huntley self and I love that.”

The final results will be shown on Tuesday following performances by the five finalists on Monday, who each performed a ballad and a fast song.

The finalists performed a duet with their coaches on Tuesday before the results of the audience vote were announced.

Coaches Gwen Stefani, 54, Niall, John and Reba also sang together in a holiday-themed song as they performed “Let It Snow.”

Huntley was the first contestant to perform with his coach during the live finale. He sang a duet with Niall on Bob Dylan's “Knockin' On Heaven's Door”.

Before they took the stage, Huntley told Niall that taking part in the show was “like the coolest summer camp” for him. Huntley and Niall both sat on stage and played guitar while singing the song, punching each other when it ended.

Tuesday's star-studded finale also included a performance by 56-year-old Keith Urban, who sang “Blue Ain't Your Color.” He wore a black t-shirt and black jeans during his performance and the audience gave him a standing ovation and cheered him when he was finished.

Future coaches Dan + Shay sang Bigger Houses. The two will be the first doubles chair trainers on the show. They sang their song while sitting on a small house on the stage.

Teddy Swims performed Lose Control and sibling trio AJR sang Yes I'm A Mess and Bang! during the live show.

Reba and Jacquie sang Wynonna Judd's song No One Else On Earth.

Lila performed a duet with her coach John as they sang “Sleigh Ride” by Ella Fitzgerald. The two were supported by a jazz orchestra. Lila wore a floor-length, strapless sequin dress, while John wore a white jacket and tuxedo outfit.

Ruby and her trainer Reba chatted before taking the stage together. Ruby chose Brenda Lee's song “Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree” for her duet because it was her mother's favorite song.

21-year-old South African singer Tyla invited viewers to a performance of her songs Truth Or Dare and Water.

The legendary music group Earth, Wind & Fire also took the stage and delivered a medley of hits such as Boogie Wonderland, Let's Groove and September.

At the end of the show, the five finalists stood before the results were announced with Carson taking center stage. Carson first asked Jacquie what Reba's trust and friendship meant to her.

“It gave me so much confidence as an artist,” Jacquie said. “The fact that I can talk to you at any time and you will respond and be there for me.”

Carson asked Ruby what she wanted to say to Reba.

“I just want to say a big thank you for believing in me from the beginning and getting me to where I am now,” Ruby said. “I already feel like I’m a winner.”

Mara then told Niall what his mentorship meant to her.

“I feel like you really brought out my inner child and my inner love for music,” Mara said. “You showed me that good things happen to good people and that I should never be afraid to be myself.”

Lila thanked John for being so honest with her.
