“The Voice”: Jacquie Roar rocks the finale with “More Than a Feeling” and “Nights in White Satin” – Entertainment Tonight

Jacquie Roar rocked The Voice Season 24 finale with two stunning performances!

After rehearsals with her coach Reba McEntire, the country-rock singer took the stage first with a rollicking rendition of Boston's “More Than a Feeling” that left the coach and audience on the edge of their seats!

“I feel like every time you get that love and validation, you just keep getting better and better,” Gwen Stefani gushed. “It was so amazing to watch.”

Her coach agreed, and Reba gushed, “You know that old saying, 'Go big or go home?' Girl, you made it big! Well done.”

Later in the two-part finale, after an emotional message from her friends and family, Jacquie performed her ballad “Nights in White Satin” by the Moody Blues – and showed her softer side with an epic, finale-worthy performance.

“I’m not even at a loss for words after that,” Gwen praised again. “It was just great and it just kept getting better… I'm thrilled with you, that was so nice.”

“You are a force of nature, it was so beautiful,” her coach agreed. “It was just a wonderful achievement, I’m so proud for you.”

Jacquie fought for her place on The Voice's live shows at every turn – and it paid off. She made it to four chairs with her blind audition performance of Gretchen Wilson's “Here for the Party,” and although she lost her battle round, it was stolen by Reba, only to later win her Knockout with Maren Morris' “Girl.”

During the playoffs, Jacquie delivered what coaches called her best performance yet, boldly tackling a classic with Fleetwood Mac's “The Chain.”

“Jacquie came tonight,” Reba marveled after keeping Jacquie for the live shows. “What excites me about Jacquie in the live shows is that she is a show dog – and she will be a contender.”

ET spoke to the coaches on the red carpet ahead of the first live show of the season, and everyone marveled at the range of talent they saw on the show this year.

“The talent this year has been so across the board that all of our teams are pretty crazy,” enthused Niall. “The voices I have this year are simply some of the best singers I’ve ever heard.”

John agreed, saying, “The depth of talent this season is better than I've ever seen on this show since I've been here.”

“This is my eighth season and I have never seen such a high level of quality across the board,” he continued. “I am so impressed with our artists this year.”

“I have some great singers, and I think at some point people will fall in love with not just the voice, but the person,” Gwen shared. “This season it’s ridiculous. I know we say that every season and it always feels that way, but this one presents a particularly big challenge.”

“I really couldn’t tell you [who might win]” Reba agreed.

The two-part Season 24 finale of The Voice airs Monday, December 18th at 8:00 PM PT/ET and Tuesday, December 19th at 9:00 PM PT/ET on NBC.
