The Walking Dead’s Daryl Dixon and The Ones Who Live and Interview With the Vampire spinoffs resume production as AMC Networks strikes a deal with SAG-AFTRA

As the writers’ and actors’ strike continues, AMC Networks just scored a big victory with a new deal with SAG-AFTRA that allows two The Walking Dead spin-offs and “Interview With the Vampire” to resume production.

AMC Networks has reached tentative agreements for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live and Interview With the Vampire, via Deadline, allowing filming to resume on all three series.

The agreements reportedly only apply to these three shows and are not a “blanket agreement” that covers every show on AMC Networks.

AMC Networks confirmed the agreements to Deadline but did not provide any further details.

Although numerous tentative agreements have been signed since the SAG-AFTRA strike on July 14, these are the largest to date.

“We greatly appreciate the work of our creative partners and hope that these disputes can be resolved as quickly and fairly as possible,” Dolan said.

“The short-term reality for AMC Networks is that we have a pipeline of finished shows that will allow us to continue serving our viewers across all of our platforms for the remainder of this year and well into 2024.” she said further in the company’s second quarter earnings release.
