The head of the WHO assured on Monday that the Israeli army had asked him to empty a medical supplies warehouse in the south of the Gaza Strip within 24 hours “as ground operations would render it unusable.”
“We call on #Israel to withdraw this order and take all possible measures to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure, including hospitals and humanitarian facilities,” added World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on the social network X ( earlier Twitter).
