The prize is a glass sculpture in the shape of a microphone.
“We have already received many donations from abroad. We believe that this auction will benefit Ukraine,” said band leader Oleh Psiuk. The band has not yet chosen the organization that will receive the donation money, Italian media reported.

Ukraine Post, Ukrposhta, has meanwhile announced that a postage stamp will be issued to celebrate the victory of the Kalush Orchestra. According to the head of the Post, Igor Smilyansky, the seal must be coordinated with the organizers of the competition.

The Kalush Orchestra took first place for Ukraine at the ESC on Saturday night in Turin with 631 points – ahead of Great Britain and Spain. The winners also received a special tribute in their home country: Ukrainian railways named a train with the winning song “Stefania”.
