The Richard Horne actor, who stars in the 2017 sequel ‘Twin Peaks’, revealed on stage at Comic-Con in London that he auditioned for the role of The Witcher before losing it to Henry Cavill. The Australian actor recalled his disappointment at missing out on the lead role. “First I auditioned for the role of Geralt. And I didn’t get them, which shocked me. Eventually I settled on this other character who was a kind of fighting mercenary. Then I got the part and we ended up in Budapest. “…It was a crazy adventure,” he says, alluding to it Cahirthe mysterious dark knight he plays in the popular Netflix series.
