I lament in vain my inability to appreciate certain arts. I have enjoyed films, music and books to the point of ecstasy, they give me protection and happiness. But I could never get infected with passion or simple entertainment for the ancient and prestigious art of theater. I can’t believe it, there’s almost always something in him that seems artificial to me, he has a very hard time scratching my emotional fibers. Of course with exceptions. I saw a man standing alone on stage for three hours. His name was Vittorio Gassman and what he offered created hypnosis, fascination and emotion. He recited Shakespeare, Melville, Pirandello.

The problem isn’t the theatre, it has to be mine. This has always moved the public. And great actors and actresses admit it’s the space they prefer to show the essence of their work. When I was young I was bored on stage, although I attended moderately, including the horror of experimental theater. At my very young age, I have neither the time nor the desire to correct my autism to him.

I am also annoyed by behaviors and expressions in life that I find theatrical, exaggerated and untruthful. And that happens to me with the vast majority of the political class. Something that didn’t happen to me with Obama and his amazing wife. Watching and listening to them felt like good movies to me.

The theater is also flooding the television. Those who spread the news of the world do not limit themselves to informing, they make gestures, emphasize their voice, show their anger, make little grimaces, seem to sense the misfortune of others as if it were happening to them themselves. Especially on certain topics. I imagine that the certificate of progressive conscience gives them security. Or the one that always fits. They are pure and rancid theatre.
