Quebec currently offers the perfect conditions for viewing the Northern Lights… you just have to be in the right place.
Apparently, despite what Robert Charlebois has been singing to us for almost 50 years, the Northern Lights are not visible from Montreal. Nor from a major source of visual pollution.

But if you are lucky enough to be in Bas-Saint-Laurent, for example, you know that the Quebec sky was lit up in multiple colors while Quebec had its eyes on the last ADISQ gala, that of Louis-Josée Houde was moderated.
The green light trails were clearly visible to the naked eye. You don’t have to be a professional photographer to observe them.
