“There are girls who don’t help,” says Caio Castro of Erectile Dysfunction

Actor Caio Castro, 33, opened up about toxic masculinity in an interview with the Sua Brother channel, hosted by YouTube host Renatinha Diniz. He claims to have tried to deconstruct the sexist taboos in which he grew up.

“I’ve learned that a man is strong, that a man doesn’t have to cry for anything. That he has to be the head of the house and raise a family is something I held back tears over simple things in the film,” Caio recalled.

He said some friends of his girlfriend dancer Daiane de Paula, 31 were surprised to see him cry before the action of the film Top Gun: Maverick in the cinema.

“I don’t have to be harsh, I have to be human, I have to try to correct these things that are bad for me. I have my weaknesses, I have my insecurities in some places, I feel like crying… Today I’m a very free guy. It’s transformative,” he said.

Caio went further and took a stand on an even more sensitive issue in men’s lives: erectile dysfunction.

“It’s obvious that we get involved more with a friend or with ourselves on this issue, but there’s a group, a section of girls who don’t help, who insist [cobrar]: ‘What’s up man? Wow!’” he criticized. “That makes me ask [a elas]: ‘How old are they?'”
