The Vorarlberg team is ready for the 2024 season – Tour of Antalya UCI 2.1 gives Vermeulen, Stüssi and Co.

The Vorarlberg team has never started a season so early. But with the Tour of Antalya, a UCI category 2.1 ride of over 605 kilometers, a challenge awaits. The four stages of the holiday region, from 8 to 11 February, aim to be the best base for trips to Rhodes in early March.

The four stages have something for sprinters and classic riders. For the Vorarlberg team, this early start to the race serves as a clear preparatory journey for future tasks. The Tour of Antalya is very prominent with numerous teams from the top categories.

The following teams are on the starting list: Bahrain-Victorios, Alpecin-Deceuninck, Uno-X Mobility, @36.5 Pro Team, Team Tudor, Polti-Kometa, CSF Bardiani, Bingol-WP, TDT-Unibet, etc.

In addition to the winner of the Portugal Tour, Colin Stüssi, Moran Vermeulen, Dominik Amann, Jannis Peter, Lukas Meiler, Felix Stehli and Jon Knolle will start the race for the Vorarlberg team.

Thomas Kofler – Team Manager: “The invitation to this tour is good for us, everyone is eager to start. The riders have had a good winter so far and can establish a good base earlier than usual. Defining new stimuli also makes a lot of sense, as we specifically want to raise our performance level. Competition never stops and that is also part of our motivation. I wish the team a good start!”
