As every year, the search engine Google unveils the list of the most popular searches. At the forefront of the trends were (unsurprisingly) the discoveries of the wars in Ukraine and Russia.

This year, the news will have interrupted Internet users’ searches on Google. This “photo” shows what has most “worried or interested” the French, and at the top of the top 10 we find the word Ukraine, the 2022 World Cup, Russia, actor Gaspard Ulliel and the presidential elections. Next in 6th place are Jean-Pierre Pernaut, the African Cup of Nations (CAN), the vaccination card and Vladimir Putin.

As for the news, we will often find the same words with number 1, Ukraine, Russia, the presidential elections, the results of the 2022 parliamentary elections, the presidential elections. Next up: NATO (6th), NUPES, monkeypox, the fire in the Gironde and the result of the first round.
