At the IFA in Berlin, the hi-fi brand Denon presented two new wireless high-end headphones: Denon PerL and Denon PerL Pro.

While IFA 2023 is taking place this week, manufacturer Denon took advantage of the Berlin event to introduce two new pairs of high-end wireless headphones with quite attractive features, the Denon PerL and Denon PerL Pro.
Specifically, these two pairs have a fairly similar look, with a large round tactile surface on the outside and an in-ear format. However, the PerL Pro features a glossy border on the outside of the surface, giving the standard PerL a completely matte look.
As for the technical characteristics, both models have 10mm diameter transducers, but the “Pro” version is reinforced with three layers of titanium for low distortion. For Bluetooth audio codecs, both models are compatible with AAC, SBC and aptX, but the PerL Pro is also compatible with aptX Lossless and aptX Adaptive. They also offer multipoint Bluetooth compatibility so they can be connected to a smartphone and a laptop PC at the same time, a feature not available on the standard model. The same goes for spatial audio, which is only offered in the “Pro” version.

In addition, Denon’s two new headphones have active noise cancellation and a transparent mode.
As for autonomy, Denon announces a usage time of its PerL Pro of up to 8 hours (32 hours with the charging case, compatible with wireless charging) and 6 hours with the PerL (24 hours with the charging case). Charging, without wireless charging). The headphones also come with four pairs of silicone tips, one pair of foam tips and two pairs of ear fins.

As a reminder: Denon is a brand of the Sound United group, just like Marantz, Polk or Bowers & Wilkins. This Japanese brand specializes in Hi-Fi and home theater equipment and generally offers very attractive value for money.
The Denon PerL and Denon PerL Pro headphones are already available in stores. It will cost 199 euros for the Denon PerL and 349 euros for the Denon PerL Pro.
