There are 19 attackers, 12 defenders and 4 goalkeepers. Of these, 29 players are under contract with the Canadiens or the Rocket.
The Canadiens saw a lot of cuts over the weekend, with many of the team’s young players moving to the AHL squad.
Head coach Jean-François Houle only has three days to get to know the group as the team plays a preseason game against the Toronto Marlies on Thursday.
The Rockets return to Laval for their second and final preseason game on Sunday when they host the Belleville Senators.
