Honduras. La Ceiba was the information center hosting the Sustainable Tourism and Climate Change Forum. Activities begin with the Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria workshop developed by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), with speakers Jorge Moller Rivas, Program Director for Latin America and GSTC Trainer, and Natalia Naranjo, GSTC Trainer.
This workshop, aimed at business people, hoteliers, tour operators, restaurants and other tourism service providers, was held on September 20th and 21st and allowed participants to learn more about the GSTC program and familiarize themselves with the principles, difficulties and trends of the to deal with tourism. sustainably and, above all, expand their knowledge about the efficient use of natural resources.
