Through a social media campaign titled “We all love Norma Helena,” the singer's relatives have asked for support to pay the artist's medical costs, which are in intensive care.

According to various media outlets, 68-year-old Gadea is suffering from health complications due to chronic illnesses such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
“Our dear great artist, Norma Helena Gadea, is in poor health in intensive care and is asking for your support to cover the medical costs,” reads the poster circulating online.
National singer-songwriter Juan Solórzano also pointed out the artistic greatness of Gadea, who needs support today.
“His voice represented Nicaragua Today, in many places around the world, we must thank him by supporting him financially, leaving a legacy for the new generation of artists,” said Solórzano.
