They arrived last night to deliver gifts from the Good Bunny Foundation

The excitement of receiving gifts and enjoying the Christmas atmosphere at the Good Bunny Foundation's “Beautiful Tradition” event is reflected in dozens of participants interested in enjoying the activity held today at the Puerto Rico Convention Center takes place.

Families began lining up on the grounds early to ensure their turn for the gift presentation, which was scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Also for the opportunity to meet the urban star Bad Bunny, founder of the initiative, and other colleagues who have confirmed their presence, such as Arcángel and Dei V.

The free event, which first took place in 2018, is now in its fourth year and, as usual, has the task of handing out thousands of gifts related to music, sports and art. Also to promote the special traditions of Puerto Rican Christmas.

To speed up delivery, twelve stations have been set up within the facility, one of which is for people with disabilities.

Several fences with the rabbit logo that represents the foundation mark the boundaries where the public must take their turn.

Manuel Vendrell from Aguada was the first to arrive. He arrived last night at 11:00 with his sister Diserée and his niece Dilia, 12 years old.

“Everything was super good, organized and very safe,” he said excitedly. “This activity seems to be a great initiative for the children of the country since there is so much going on,” he applauded, revealing that his niece “did not miss his concerts.”

Carmen Campos from Caguas began her shift at 1:00 a.m. with her 14-year-old daughter Daisyane Marie Rivera and her friend Yeifmarie Sánchez, 13. This is the second time the mother and daughter witnessed the event. . “I like that he motivates the young people, takes time for them and gives them gifts,” said Rivera, who still remembers her daughter’s excitement when she saw the interpreter in front of her for the first time. “She saw him and hugged him.”

Little Nethaniel Cardona in a wheelchair excitedly announced that he would be enjoying the event for the third time. “I really like his songs,” said the lively 7-year-old from Quebradillas, who received art supplies from Bad Bunny last year, as he shared. Their mother, Kathyria Rodríguez, confessed that they got up at 3:30 this morning and were among the first to arrive. “It’s a tradition now,” said Rodríguez, pregnant with a girl. “She will also be part of this tradition,” he said with a smile.

The interest in promoting family unity is one of the main aspects of the event, which is about much more than just gifts. For this purpose, various stations have been reserved for Christmas music, typical seasonal delicacies and typical images of Christmas in Puerto Rico. In addition to the presence of the Magi, they will offer, among other things, a “glow-in-the-dark” ball pit and “karaoke stands.”
