In the live footage, taken in the early morning hours of this Sunday, April 3, you can see at least two Antillean family groups, including children, crossing the border through water that was violent in its current.
One of the first Cuban families to cross the border, made up of five adults and a girl of about five, made it through the first leg with no apparent difficulty.

The second Antillean family had six people, two of them minors, who passed the first section quickly until they reached an island of sorts in the Rio Grande.
When both groups reached the island, they began crossing in the second part to eventually reach US territory; The current was stronger in this section, so the two Cuban families teamed up to cross safely and not get swept away by the water.
Details of the Cubans’ arrival in the United States are not known at this time, but video showed that they all arrived safely.
