The incident in question occurred in the final minutes of the game in Tarapoto. When the assistant raised the electronic board to announce the equalizer, the midfielder protested from his club’s substitutes’ room. According to the referee, ‘Cuevita’ used profanity in his claim but the player denied the allegation.
When will Christian Cueva return with Alianza Lima?
With this decision, Christian Cueva’s return to the blue and white jersey could only take place on Thursday 11 May when Alianza Lima host César Vallejo in an upcoming clash. So far, the midfielder has only made four appearances in the domestic championship.
