A group of 32 migrants, including nine Cubanwere transported in a cargo trailer in Mexico and rescued during a Mexican Army operation.
According to the Minister of Defense (Sedena), the security forces secured foreigners of different nationalities at the old checkpoint at kilometer 53.
Authorities discovered the Kenworth unit housing the migrants, which was owned by the company Exprés Leal de Nuevo León and had a planned journey of 400 kilometers.

In this sense, three citizens have been arrested for their involvement in the unsafe transfer of migrants from Cuba, Honduras, Guatemala and Salvador; including four minors.

The detainees were identified as Juan Jesús “N”, 30 years old; Jesús Alberto “N”, 34, and Uriel “N”, 23, who are originally from the state of Nuevo León.
It turned out that the undocumented foreigners were traveling in the crowded trailer. They were handed over to the authorities of the National Migration Institute (INM) to receive the necessary assistance, have their human rights restored and be transferred to be provided with food and medical care.

Similar news broke recently after the rescue of 17 Cuban migrants among a group of 92 foreigners who were transferred in a truck to reach the United States in search of a better life for them and their families.
