Paraguayan guitarist Berta Rojas wrote in his social media about his guitar being stolen that Friday afternoon in the city of Cleveland, United States of America.
To the person who just stole my guitar in Cleveland, it’s just a guitar to you. For me it is an extension of me. She brings joy, peace and love into the world. please give them back Leave her where I can find her,” he posted.
The renowned artist asked for information about her affiliation in case anyone saw anything about it. “The box had the tricolor. On the neck of the guitar case was the Paraguayan flag,” he described.

The posts were responded to by dozens of followers, who expressed their solidarity with the guitar teacher at Berklee College of Music.

In 2011, Rojas also endured an incident involving a guitar, when he denounced that United Airlines took the guitar from him and later returned it with the case broken.
Bertha Rojas has been nominated three times for the Latin Grammy: Best Instrumental Album for her album Día y Medio (A Day and a Half), a duet with Paquito D’Rivera (2012), Best Clásico Album for his album Salsa Roja (2014) and most recently in the Best Tango Album category for his album Historia del Tango (2015), recorded with the Camerata Bariloche.
Rojas has lived in Boston, USA for the past four years and teaches primarily at Berklee College of Music.
