The lawyer of the singer Thiago Servo, Otávio Gomes Figueiró, announced on Friday (10) that the artist had filed a claim for damages after the court found that he is not the father of the girl to whom he has already paid more than 1 million R$ had paid maintenance. The compatriot who worked with Thaeme was arrested in 2016 for owing R$500,000 to the girl’s mother
“Many people asked me about the claim for damages that Thiago Servo is bringing against the mother of a daughter who is not his. There were seven years of battles and legal battles, one after another. Thiago was wrongly arrested because of this,” began Gomes Figueiró.
“Today we are filing a claim for damages to reimburse Thiago for what was taken from him. Not only the pension he paid, but also the moral and material damage. Thiago spent seven years with one arrest warrant after another, without being able to work, without being able to perform. Justice takes time, but it does not fail and we will enforce Thiago’s rights,” he added.

According to Metrópoles columnist Fábia Oliveira, the judge in charge of the case determined that the girl was not Thiago’s daughter because a DNA test was required, but the mother did not appear with the daughter at any of the three scheduled tests. The publication also revealed that the singer’s name had already been removed from the girl’s birth certificate.
The artist was the 2023 champion of the reality show A Grande Conquista, a reality show on Record TV. At the time, he stated that he would not give up the prize to settle his debts in court. However, the money was confiscated by the courts.
