Forward Jakub Vrana, who was left out of the St. Louis Blues lineup for the team’s last two games, didn’t hide his feelings.
“I can’t tell you that I’m happy with the situation, but that’s how it is,” the ice hockey player answered questions from the media on Sunday after his team’s training session.

“What matters from now on is the reaction I get,” he added. I will continue to work on myself and my game and hope to get the chance to prove what I can do.
In five games so far in the 2023-24 season, Vrana has one goal and two assists for three points. He is playing his second season in St. Louis after being signed in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings in March 2023.
Vrana is known for his offensive talent, but has some difficulties in his zone.
“I really believe that there always is [place à] Improvement, he said. There are things like managing the puck a little better, being strong on the puck, holding onto it better and playing with it in the right areas. I think it could definitely be improved.”
“I got the message. They said: ‘You have to get better.’ I accept. I respect what the coach expects of me. We have a whole season ahead of us and I want to be part of this team. I’m happy here and will prove it.”
The Blues will visit the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday before hosting the New Jersey Devils on Friday. The next day, the Montreal Canadian will be in Missouri for a game on TVA Sports.
