On the red carpet of the musical “Hair” we met actor Sam-Éloi Girard, who played Manu in the series L’Échappée.
He was present at this event along with his father, singer Michaël, to encourage his brother Tom-Éliot Girard, who has a role in the show staged for Serge Denoncourt. Photo of father and son is available below.

The actor took the opportunity to confirm to us that he’d landed a role in the daily Indéfendable, a score that apparently fills him with joy.
He was able to tell us a little more: “He’s a character who explodes in all directions, very explodes,” he tells us immediately.
“I think it will fit. In fact, Manu answered the door at L’Échappée compared to what I had done before. I think we just added an extra tick here for a character being episodic. He’s a character that I think will make an impact. There are very daring scenes. I had the opportunity to play with guns for the first time. I think it’s going to be completely insane,” he explains.
This confirms that his character is being charged with a crime. However, he didn’t want to say too much so as not to spoil our viewing pleasure. It is therefore necessary to clarify which lawyer will defend his character in the criminal proceedings.
Sam-Éloi also confirms that he will soon start filming the Lakay Nou series, which will be broadcast on the ICI Télé platforms in the coming months, an original idea by Frédéric Pierre.
“It takes place in a Haitian community. I will play a super nice character. I’m so happy to be part of this project that will produce something that we haven’t really seen in Quebec. The character lives the reality of many little young white people who remain very faithful to Haitian culture and somehow end up assimilating it. »
The actor also confirms to us that he will be joining a series that has already been airing for two seasons, but without being able to tell us what it is about. This is a rich program for a talented young actor that we love to see on our small screen.
