It's one of the cult feature films of the 2010s: “Limitless”, starring Bradley Cooper and Robert de Niro. When the film was released in theaters in 2011, it was a huge success: on a budget of $27 million, it grossed $162 million worldwide. The project even led to a television series with a season of 22 episodes, which followed the same principle as the film. It's clear that Neil Burger and Leslie Dyxon's project hasn't lost its bite or appeal several years after its release, as it's risen to the second spot of most-watched films on Netflix right now, just behind The World After Us.

Eddie manages to attract attention and everyone wants to benefit from the wonders of the NZT. Realizing the danger, Eddie also has to deal with the product's horrific side effects. In order to survive, Eddie increasingly draws on his reserves, which come after him from all sides. Will he have enough to prove he's smarter than all his enemies?

Bradley Cooper wasn't the first actor considered for the role of Eddie Morra
When the project was in its infancy, production considered opting for it Shia Labeouf as Eddie Morra. Ultimately, he had to turn down the project due to a stroke of fate after he injured his hand in a car accident. Little-known Bradley Cooper was the next candidate on the list. Although he had little experience in comedy, his performance in “The Hangover” counted for a lot: “We all had Bradley Cooper in our sights, but studios are still wondering whether they can dare make a film based on the name of this or that actor Luckily, The Hangover came out when we were casting and suddenly everything became possible. I met Bradley in New York, we spent an evening together and discussed the film, about life, about everything. He is someone who has charm, a real personality and it was obvious that he was perfect for our project,” revealed Neil Burger. It was him, like the others amazed by the actor's work : “He delivers an absolutely breathtaking acting performance.”
