Since 2021, it is the chef Émilie Bégin (who you undoubtedly followed in the last season of the show Les Chefs!) who has fun highlighting seasonal foods in dishes that are as colorful as they are appetizing.

To commemorate their 10th anniversary, the Labo Culinaire team is organizing a festive evening on Monday October 23rd. It will be an opportunity to celebrate all the great encounters, unforgettable moments and delicious dishes that have made this restaurant such a special place in Montreal.

At the end there will be an Art & Vino evening. Four talented artists from the Montreal scene will be there.

You can count on alias Teenadultt for her works with raw lines and bright colors that illustrate the themes of feminism, the fight against racism, popular culture and the relationship with sexuality. Maylee Keo with her colorful, playful, vibrant work and, above all, her loyalty to her values. Also included are Nikki Küntzle, who is known for her dynamic and saturated color palettes, her work is an expression of life, energy and movement, with a touch of surrealism, and finally the artist and muralist LOOPKIN, who creates her visual universe through the presence of the small enriches monsters that populate his drawings, paintings and murals.

The four artists bring original creations to life on wine bottles before your eyes, which you can then purchase. Additionally, Chef Emilie Bégin will offer a culinary retrospective and introduce the various dishes that have defined the Culinary Lab over the last decade.

And for the rest of the restaurant?

“Although we are closing the Culinary Lab, we have an exciting project planned for next year. We will reveal the details of this exciting new adventure to you very soon,” the Lab team announced in a press release.

We can’t wait to find out more!
