The Salesian School Band performed the song “Quando, wheno, wheno” 48 years ago when the competition was held in the lands of Cuscatlecan.
A few months after the 2023 edition of miss universethat will take place in the Cuscatleco area, many users of social networks recalled the presentation that the Don Bosco Youth Orchestra had on the night of July 19, 1975 in El Salvador.
The video of this unforgettable presentation, held at the Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium in San Salvador, has been shared on different platforms.

The audiovisual video shows the group performing the song “Quando, wheno, wheno”, a song popularized in the ’60s by Tony Renis and Emilio Pericoli.
In the impressive setting, in which a replica of a Mayan pyramid stood out, the boys delighted the audience and spectators from all over the world.
Dressed in flamboyant clothing, the musicians, dancers and singers of the band from the renowned Salesian school earned the admiration of the audience with their friendliness, grace and talent.

According to some YouTube users, the main singer of this evening was the boy Martín Valle, who amazed with the interpretation of the well-known theme in Italian.

“I’m one of the dancers in the blue and yellow uniform, we had the most fun at this amazing event,” recalled Francisco López, another member of the well-known musical group, on YouTube.
For his part, Roberto Molina said: “Some of them were my companions at Don Bosco. I remember that before the final show there were pre-competitions and the orchestra played other musical themes. Only “When, when, when” was performed on the last show. I also remember walking through the National Gymnasium on my way to my swimming lessons at the Flor Blanca Olympic pool and listening to the rehearsals from outside because of course you couldn’t get in.”
