Universitario de Deportes celebrated its 27th title in its history in front of more than 50,000 fans at the Monumental “U” Marathon Stadium. As many will remember, the Creams wanted to celebrate after the 2-0 defeat against Juventus Lima Alliance in the Alejandro Villanueva, following the lights from the blue and white colossus.
Faced with the obstruction of the celebration by the intimate board, the Merengue team organized a party for this Sunday, November 12th at the Cream venue where they received the trophy League 1 2023. Responsible for winning the title was goalkeeper José Carvallo, who announced that he would no longer stay in the cream house next season.

How will Universitario cope with the 2024 season?
After winning its 27th title against its classic rival, Universitario will be fully prepared to win the double championship next season in its 100th anniversary year.
With this in mind, the creams begin their pre-season on December 20th, while the new garments appear on the 15th of the same month. Find out the cream team’s ups, downs and rumors below.
