Chrissy Metz has split from her boyfriend Bradley Collins after a three-year relationship.
The 43-year-old This Is Us star and the author shared a joint statement on Instagram on Friday announcing their split and saying they still “love each other very much.”
“After three and a half years together, we have decided to end our romantic relationship amicably,” the statement said.
“Although we continue to love each other very much, we believe this is the best path for both of us. “We still have books to write, songs to sing and a special friendship to keep us in each other’s lives forever.”
The couple met on the dating app Bumble and Chrissy made their relationship Instagram official in 2020.

The actress opened up about the start of the relationship on Radio Andy in 2021, saying: “Who knew I had to go back to the old Bumble? But I have no shame.”
Chrissy was in Nashville for work and then decided to stay in the city, partly to be near her mother, who was “having some medical issues.”
She explained: “So it wasn’t something I expected or planned, but I thought, ‘I’m kind of bored, so let me try the old Bumble.’
Women have to send the first message on Bumble, which was part of the attraction to Chrissy, she revealed to host Andy Cohen on the show.
The Florida-born TV actress gushed: “I love the idea of the woman making the first move.” I think that’s so cool. I love that!’

Chrissy recalled: “So yeah, of course you talk to a few people and you know it’s just like, ‘Oh, we don’t click.’ We don’t vibrate.” And you know, you like to think the best out of every situation.”
She noted: “But interestingly, Bradley and I have all the same friends.” He knows all the same songwriters. “He has been in music publishing for 16 years.”
The Talking To God singer said: “So we were in the same rooms but we’d never met, so I was like, I feel like, you know, it’s certainly meant to be like that.”
