Segway Ninebot is considered by us to be one of the leading suppliers of electric scooters and has decided to open its first physical store in Europe. The latter will be based no more and no less in Paris.

A new stage in the French evolution of the Segway Ninebot. Specializing in the manufacture and sale of electric scooters, the company will open the very first European store in its history, which will take place at 78 rue de Rennes in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
This physical store also offers the opportunity to present its range of electric scooters, consisting of the Segway eScooter E300SE, the Segway eScooter E110SE, the Segway eScooter E110S and the Segway eScooter E125S, which Frandroid has partially tested. The site will therefore give a special place to two main vehicle types.
This new step comes a year and a half after the creation of a French subsidiary of the brand, motivated by a strong increase in sales in France. “In three years we have increased our turnover sixfold,” explains Rudy Godoy, Director France of Segway-Ninebot, in a press release to the editors.

In particular, look at the sales of electric scooters in France in recent years to see that a real market is emerging and being structured. Although sales volumes in 2022 (759,000, or -16%) were lower than in 2021, sales increased by 14.5% in value terms.
In summary, the market value is increasing, as is the average price of electric scooters. And of course, in order to be both closer to the customer and to offer its products a presentation worthy of the name, Segway Ninebot decided to open a physical store where you can see the offer with your own eyes and even try it.
While this choice may seem trivial at first glance, one should consider how important it is to create a physical connection between a brand and consumers. Buying an electric scooter to serve as the main mode of transportation around the city is the order of the day these days.

This store opening was also supported by MAZE E-Ride, a specialist in electric scooters and motorcycles with three dealerships in Paris. This collaboration is not new and unprecedented as it is the official reseller of Segway electric scooters.
The opening of the Segway shop will be inaugurated at the end of June 2023.
