A return for Iron Man soon?
While Marvel Cinematic Universe viewers seem to be gradually abandoning ship since the end of the Infinity Stones arc (which ends with the film “Avengers: Endgame”), Those at the top of the studio definitely seem willing to do whatever it takes to revive the hype. Credible information, but to be taken with caution
Despite all the criticism we’ve already read and heard before the information is even official, it wouldn’t really be surprising if Marvel jumped into such a scenario. It has to be said that the recent viewing figures for Secret Invasion, She-Hulk and even Loki don’t really lean towards risk-taking, even if some of their best post-Endgame productions were very original (WandaVision, The Eternals…). So when information suggesting Robert Downey Jr. has agreed to reprise his iconic role as Iron Man hits Twitter, suffice to say it causes a stir:

This tweet sparked a rumor that the actor who plays Iron Man had agreed to return to the MCU. While fans of the character would like to believe it wholeheartedly and it wouldn’t be completely impossible, it’s important to remember that such information has not been confirmed by Marvel and that the author of the tweet is not a known source of particularly good leaks. Despite everything, the rumor quickly made the rounds on the Internet and was picked up by many accounts that specialized in Marvel-related information. In addition, it is also worth remembering that the actor himself did not seem completely motivated to return to the MCU. When asked about this topic in 2020, Robert Downey Jr. said:
There would have to be a particularly compelling argument and a series of events that would make it obvious. But I want to continue.
Apparently the interview in which he said these sentences is now out of date, and the multiverse has largely made this possible since then.
