Last week, La Semaine magazine informed us that the actress Bénédicte Décary will join the series À coeur beating in the second part of the first season, which will be available from autumn next year.
In an interview with the always kind author Danielle Trottier, we wanted to know more about the role the actress will play. Here’s what she wanted to tell us.
Bénédicte Décary plays a lawyer, Maître Lafleur, who is responsible for bringing Gabrielle Laflamme (Ève Landry) to justice on a very specific case.
“Gabrielle Laflamme, I’ve given her a pretty easy pass so far, but that’s where she’s going to have to meet prosecutors, lawyers who are as tough as she is,” explains Danielle Trottier first. “This attorney who is going to defend a man accused of domestic violence… There’s a challenge! There will be competition in court! »
“It’s a role linked to just one case, that of Julio Montoya and Sylvie Desjardins. So it’s going to be a very special case of domestic violence, and she’s going to defend this man. You must come to a final agreement that is fair to all parties. It’s the woman who was abused and the two lawyers will investigate this case, which will be very interesting,” she specifies.
We recently saw Bénédicte Décary in the series Entre deux draps, which returns for a final season this fall. We also saw her in L’Échappée, which just ended its run after 7 seasons on TVA.
