Vendela dated Clooney in 1996. She was seen popping up around town when he was fresh from his ER fame and starting making big films.

Before that, she dated Batman producer Jon Peters from 1992 to 1995.
In 1996, Kirsebom married Norwegian politician Olaf Thommessen, but the two separated in 2007 after 11 years of marriage.
Together they had two daughters, Julia and Hannah.
In 2019, her boyfriend, Petter Pilgaard, proposed to Kirsebom. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the wedding was postponed, but they finally got married in June 2022.

Kirsebom was born in Stockholm, Sweden to a Norwegian mother and a Turkish father.
At the age of 13 she was discovered by Eileen Ford in a Stockholm restaurant.
At the age of 18 she completed her studies at the Oslo Waldorf School.
It was at this point that she decided to start her modeling career.
The young blonde signed with Ford Models and moved to Italy to pose for Marie Claire.
Her first major deal was with beauty company Elizabeth Arden, followed by a deal with Almay.
Next came fame in the US.
It was an instant hit and landed on the cover of Shape and FHM.
It wasn’t long before Hollywood called.
