Three people who allegedly threatened a minor were arrested on Wednesday evening after a major operation in a field on the border between Beauport and Charlesbourg.
It all started around 6 p.m. when the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) received a call about an alleged threat against a teenager.
While intervening with the alleged victim, police saw the suspects in a field near the crime scene.

A large police operation of around ten patrol cars and dog units then surrounded the area at the corner of Boulevard Louis-XIV and Rue Blanche-Lamontagne.
“The three suspects, a boy and an underage girl as well as an 18-year-old man, were all arrested and detained overnight,” explains Marie-Pier Rivard, spokesperson for the SPVQ.

The operation took on a certain scale because there were fears that the suspects might be armed.
The three people were met by investigators. They could appear at a later date.
