Three men have appeared in an Indian court accused of repeatedly raping a Brazilian travel vlogger as she rode her motorcycle around the world with her husband.
Police in India are also currently hunting four other suspects in connection with the violent attack.
Fernando, 28, and Vicente, 63, have 300,000 followers online, where they document their journey around the world on a motorcycle.
The couple, traveling from India to Nepal on separate motorcycles, reportedly stayed overnight in Dumka district of Jharkhand, India, and set up camp in a makeshift tent before being discovered and approached by the men, who then sexually assaulted Fernando.
In a video filmed at a hospital in India, Vicente revealed the injuries they suffered and said his “mouth was destroyed” after the attackers used a helmet and a stone to beat him.

Fernanda and her partner Vicente have shared shocking footage after the Brazilian influencer was allegedly beaten and raped by multiple men
Fernanda, who can be seen with visible bruises on her face, said they were also robbed but it was clear that “their only intention was to rape her”. She added that they had asked the police for help.
The men are said to be between 20 and 30 years old and are accused of raping Fernanda in shifts.
According to The Telegraph, the couple appeared in court today and received around £9,500 in compensation from Indian authorities.
Anjaneyulu Dodde, deputy commissioner of Dumku, said: “We have given him compensation of one million rupees.” “We are conducting a thorough investigation and will try to ensure a speedy trial and conviction.”
