Three men arrested for assaulting and robbing rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine

(CNN) — After rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was attacked at a gym in South Florida, LA last week, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that three suspects have been arrested for assaulting and robbing the rapper.

The three suspects, identified as Rafael Medina Jr, 43; Octavius ​​Medina, 23; and Anthony Maldonado, 25; “You have been located, arrested and are currently being held/processed at the Palm Beach County Jail,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

During the altercation at an LA gym, rapper Daniel Hernandez, known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. Hernandez’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told CNN in a statement that the rapper “was attacked in a fitness sauna by three or four thugs who hit him (he was trying to defend himself).”
