Three men convicted of murdering US rapper XXXTentacion

Three men were found guilty Monday by a popular jury in the murder of American rapper XXXTentacion after more than a week of deliberations in Florida, in the southeastern United States.

The three men will appear in court again on April 5 to hear their verdicts. You face life imprisonment.

Considered one of the spearheads of the new generation of American hip-hop, XXXTentacion rose to fame by releasing their songs on the SoundCloud platform. His music, very dark and muted tones, often recalled his depression and his past as a criminal.

His second studio album “?” had ranked number one on Billboard when it was released in March 2018 and without traditional promotion.

Because of the violence he was involved in, he was at the center of controversy.

Already convicted of assault, Jahseh Onfroy – his real name – was awaiting trial amid the #MeToo wave in a case he was accused of hitting his former girlfriend, who was pregnant.
