Three Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire during several military incursions in the occupied West Bank on Sunday morning, according to the Palestinian Authority Health Ministry.
According to the ministry, the three Palestinians were killed in clashes with the Israeli army in Beit Rima, the Ramallah region, Tamoun and the Askar refugee camp in the northern West Bank.
No comment could initially be obtained from the Israeli army.
More than 110 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli army operations in the West Bank since the war broke out in Gaza between Hamas and Israel on October 7, sparked by the Palestinian movement’s unprecedented deadly attack in Israel.
The situation in the West Bank, occupied by Israel since 1967, was already tense before this war, with Israeli forces conducting regular raids and increasing attacks by Israeli settlers on the Palestinian population.
A 40-year-old Palestinian man picking olives was killed by an Israeli settler in a village near a settlement in the Nablus region on Saturday, according to the Health Ministry and the local mayor.
