Three Step News | Police boat crashes on Uruguay River and officers lose guns in El Soberbio Três Passos News trespassosnews.com.br

A boat belonging to Argentina’s El Soberbio Naval Prefecture turned around on the Uruguay River with four soldiers while they were guarding a delegation from the Oberá Federal Judge. As El Territorio found out, the weapons the divers were looking for were lost.

This medium managed to reconstruct, using sources within the police force, that the incidents took place on Friday afternoon 25th, during a routine visit by Judge Alejandro Gallandat Luzuriaga. The judge toured the area in a boat while another member of the Secret Service followed him into custody.

Although this is a matter of investigation, the voices interviewed stated that the waves of the boat with the officer caused the boat behind to ring the bell. Fortunately, the four occupants remained unharmed and the boat could also be saved from violence.

With this means of communication they wanted to communicate with spokesmen of the court, but received no answer. The fact is kept strictly secret at the border and another version says that the boat did not capsize, but that the water entered through the stern and destabilized, causing the occupants to fall.

What is known is that two shotguns were lost which were searched yesterday. According to information from this medium, there was no news about this until late afternoon. The ongoing internal investigation is also intended to clarify responsibilities.

It is not the first such occurrence in this jurisdiction, as in April this year a truck loaded with confiscated soybeans fell into the water causing a disruption in ferry service.
