Three teams that play better away from home

Unlike the 29 other teams in the National Hockey League, three teams would benefit from always playing away.

They are the Montreal Canadiens, the New Jersey Devils and the Los Angeles Kings. In fact, these three teams have a positive record abroad while things are different at home.

Martin St-Louis' men have a 7-9-2 record in Montreal, but are much more comfortable on the opposition's ice, as evidenced by their 8-4-3 record.

As for the Devils, they find themselves in a similar situation to the Habs with a record of 7-8-2 at home and a record of 10-5-0 away in Newark.

Finally, in the case of the kings, the difference is even clearer. The California team has a 6-6-3 record in Los Angeles, while they sit atop the NHL overseas thanks to an impressive 13-1-1 record.

The Kings are currently in the playoffs, but not the Canadiens and the Devils, who would be very interested in quickly finding a solution for the games on their own territory.
